About this plant

Italian flat-leaf parsley, with flat, deeply cut leaves and a clean, green, peppery flavor stronger than the curly kinds. It is the workhorse for tabbouleh, chimichurri, soffritto, and finishing almost anything. Technically a biennial grown as an annual: it produces beautifully through our cool season, and cutting outer stems at the base keeps new growth coming.
